Prayer

The sparkles of sun dancing on waves of water, the leaves and branches of trees dancing in the wind, the tiny waves of water formed by wind, the hours spent staring at the trail of ants marching forward, the joy and calm I feel when I turn of my brain and stare at the clouds in the bright sky, nothing ever matters to me, I can feel you being there with me, hidden in those small things, connected to you through the part of you that's in me. Unrequited love, fear of unfulfilled passion, or any other kind of pain I feel vanishes for that one moment, I feel like things will get better, nothing is as bad as it feels. I've never believed in religion, but it feels like a prayer.

I love how prayer dint translate to asking for resources, answers or just protection. But rather it seems to be a simple and present-here state of mind ! :)
